S4N is designed around data minimization, purpose limitation, short retention for time-sensitive features and coarse location by default.
Phase 1
The discovery site does not need sexual-interest profile data. Waitlist enrollment stores contact information, city-level demand and the consent record needed to communicate about launch.
Email lifecycle
When explicitly enabled, the API can sync an opted-in waitlist contact to a configured Resend Segment and emit the waitlist.joined lifecycle event. Email failures are logged separately and do not erase a valid local consent record.
Future marketplace
Private profile attributes, visibility rules, verification attestations and location-adjacent information will be separated by purpose and access level.
